Citizen Tsuyosa Kanji

Twelve hours told in Kanji — each numeral rendered onto a silver dial in the tradition of Japanese calligraphy. Black ink on brushed steel with small symbols between the hours, clean and deliberate. Built on a platform named Tsuyosa — Japanese for “strength” — this custom design ties the language on the dial to the name on the case. A familiar watch face that reads differently to everyone who sees it.

The 40mm stainless steel case and president-style bracelet match the discipline of the dial. Powered by a reliable automatic movement with date function at 3 o’clock, protected by mineral crystal and water-resistant to 50 metres, with an exhibition caseback on the reverse.
